This study presents the comparative performance analysis of two relaying schemes, Amplify Quantize & Forward (AQF) and Decode & Forward (DF) in the Cooperative-Cognitive Networks. Energy detector, employed at destination, assesses deteriorating effect of path loss in order to measure detection performance. Relaying schemes are studied at different scenarios considering distance between Primary User (PU) and Cognitive Centre (CC) while using multiple relay concept. Monte Carlo simulated comparative study of two relaying schemes by considering AWGN channel & Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) at Cognitive Center (CC) while path loss exponent is valued at 3. We develop performance characterizations in terms of Detection Probability (Pd), Collision Probability (Pc) and Unavailable Probability (Pua) of both relaying schemes. Conclusive analysis of this study indicates that AQF shows significant improvement in cooperative-cognitive radio network over the results of DF.
