This chapter focuses on visualizing the application of CAMMP™ in the real world, and addresses tailoring—customizing and adapting the model to different project types and classifications. The CAMMP™ Model is an approach that would empower and enable organizations to start building tailored methods applicable to their specific project domains, types, and classifications. The chapter discusses a vital point related to the following hypothesis: for project management to grow and prosper beyond the current state, there is a vital need for specialization. Specialization in project management is essential for sustainable growth while pursuing efficient delivery of projects regardless of the domain. One way to achieve specialization is for some of the professional associations to consider either going beyond their generic focus or creating numerous organizations, each with its particular focus.
