In the previous two chapters, you examined the concepts and issues involved in updating data that’s cached remotely on a rich client. By exposing the data as a .NET DataSet object, you can serialize it and send it to the client in a range of formats, exactly as you did in the earlier chapter examples where you remoted customer order data to rich clients for viewing only.
