Design of Multi-Network Convergence for Complex Networks

Multi-network convergence for complex networks has three main difficulties: technical architecture conflict, network handoff smoothness and services handoff smoothness. In this paper, we design a target topology of multi-network convergence, and propose a three-phase implementation solution. We set up a new backbone network based on MPLS and VPN, and design the topology for previous networks migrating to backbone network, that will avoid the technical architecture conflict and ensure the handoff smoothness. Aiming on an unified technique architecture, we define a standardized site model based on multi-instance VPN, and design a topology for remolding previous network, that will unify the technic architecture and ensure the handoff smoothness. Finally, we prove the effectiveness of the solution in the engineering practice.
