Vulnerability Research of Confidential Information Transmitted Over Quantum Channels in Bank Infrastructure
Nikita A. Arshinov, Natalia G. Butakova · 2019
Banking structures have begun to use quantum channels to guarantee the security of the exchange of confidential information. The fundamental laws of quantum physics ensure the safety of such a transfer. This paper presents the results of a theoretical research of the effect of the real parameters of the used fiber optic channels on the security of transmitted data taking into account the spontaneous emission of photons, scattering and attenuation of signals. The possibility of detecting unauthorized access is estimated, as well as the amount of information intercepted by the intruder. The results of the work can be used during the audit of information security in the bank infrastructure.
