On the degree sequences of maximal outerplanar graphs.

Degree sequences can be applied to graph enumeration, graph decomposition and random graph construction. Bose et al. [3] gave a characterization of the degree sequences of 2-trees and asked to characterize the degree sequences of maximal outerplanar graphs, which are a special class of 2-trees. In this paper, we present some properties of the degree sequences of maximal outer planar graphs and give a characterization of the degree sequences of maximal outerplanar graphs with at most four vertices of degree 2.
