DOA Estimation via κMUSIC in FMCW Radar Application

In this paper a novel method is presented for estimating Direction of Arrival (DOA) for Classifying MUl-tiple SIgnals (κMUSIC) by reducing the spectrum to sum of monochromatic signals or pure tones. This is achieved by exploiting gold-Fourier-Kaluri (gFK) method for providing these phasors at each spectral peak. A complex beam steering vector is generated for obtaining the DOA. Results are presented and compared with standard MUSIC for reference and tested with field data for performance.
