A vertical bar chart was used in the last unit to show changes over a period of time . Bar charts can also be used for comparing the same item in various countries at one point in time , as in Figure 4.1 below. A vertical bar chart can be used to make comparisons between countries (source of chart : Lloyds Bank Economic Bulletin, July 1988) These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
