Efficient data collection and information processing in a real time basis can enhance performance in the Industry 4.0. This article describes a system that measures the electrical energy consumption of equipments installed in an industrial 4.0 advanced manufacturing line. This information is visualized in real time with digital media using the Industrial Augmented Reality (IAR) technology. Several wireless energy meters sent data to an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway that are connected to a local automation network via cables and optical fiber. These data are processed on an IAR Server and its information made available on a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) through a Wi-Fi Access Point (AP). Using tablets or smartphones with IAR apps installed, users can access this information by pointing to a Quick Response Code (QR Code) arranged around the modules of the line. It is possible to the user to visualize informations about an equipment, like name, manufacturer, model and technical handbook. The proposed system allows the monitoring of the energy consumption, current and voltage online.
