Evaluating Data Accuracy of Built-In Smartphone Sensors for Mobile Applications

The main objective of the paper is to evaluate the accuracy of the data extracted from built-in smartphone sensors. For that, we define and implement a mobile application that tests the functionalities of built-in smartphone sensors. This includes reading and saving data from the sensors by running the application on different models of smartphones. In addition, an online database is implemented to store the information. In the end, we make a comparison between the results obtained from different models of smartphones and plot the results.
