DSP Tools
Iain Paterson‐Stephens · Handbook of Measuring System Design · 2005
Abstract In this section, a number of issues are considered relating to the range of software tools that may be used during the design and development of DSP‐based applications. Software tools that could be used include algorithm design and visualization packages such as MATLAB and Simulink that help the designer to understand and tackle a signal‐processing problem. Other software tools can then be used to help move a theoretical design that exists only in simulation across to a target device for integration into a real‐world signal processing system; to verify and optimize the operation of the final working DSP system.
