Vilidymyr Tkachenko, Alla Goriushkina, Maryna Kolisnyk · 2018
This paper provides an overview and analysis of technologies, architectures, communication templates for smart objects, communication messaging models, and protocols of Internet of things/Web of things (IoT/WoT) for critical and non-critical systems. From the analysis it follows that the at present, there is no single approach to the choice of the messaging model and application-layer protocols for building the IoT/WoT, depending on the selected type of communication templates for smart objects. Therefore, the main goal of this paper is to create a technique for selecting messaging models and application-level protocols in noncritical and critical multi-level IoT/WoT systems, provided that the type of access to intelligent objects is initially specified by the initial data. To achieve this goal, in the paper were compared the main interrelated characteristics of IoT/WoT, the results of which are presented in the form of a table. The paper presents for the first time the technique created by authors which will be useful to developers of applications for a choice application-level protocols in the process of creating various multi-level IoT/WoT systems. The technique was tested by the authors on the example of a corporate system (Smart Home), based on the WoT concept.
