Secure and Parallel Expressive Search over Encrypted Data with Access Control in Multi-CloudIoT

To solve limited storage space problem; IoT sends all its data to the Cloud which is characterized by its unlimited storage service. To avoid confidentiality issues, data are encrypted before being sent to the Cloud. This encryption makes operations on these data very difficult, such as searching data that correspond to certain keywords. Searchable encryption is the solution for this problem; it allows to recover data that correspond to certain keywords without revealing any information on either keywords or data; at the same time, consideration of access control by searchable encryption is very important in order to deliver data to users who have access rights. Most works support access control and pass over information disclosure, such as revelation of the total number of data corresponds to a request, called “size pattern”; our approach support access control and decreases the number of information unveiled, by hiding the size pattern. The majority of approaches avoid sequential search using inverted indexes however they allow; only; a single keyword search. In this work we will propose a searchable encryption approach with expressive keyword search (more ideal than single-keyword search) in a multi-owner multi-user environment (more complicated than other environments) that support access control and decrease the amount of information unveiled, using inverted index. In addition to that, our approach ensures data availability and allows a parallel search by using multi-Cloud.
