Polysun simulation software in teaching and research at various academic institutions in Switzerland

The simulation software Polysun is a planning tool for the design of decentralized energy systems. While the software is useful for professional planners both for system optimization as well as for customer consulting, this presentation discusses the application range of teaching and research, as it has been observed in various activities during the last 10 years.
