Dependence of Electrical Power Leveling Characteristics on Battery Discharge Rate in a Microgrid
Tomonori Adachi, Toshiaki Yachi · 2018
For effective utilization of energy resources, a microgrid consisting of a distributed electrical power generation system such as a photovoltaic (PV) system can be considered. In a microgrid, for maximum use of PV-generated electric power, a battery system can be used for effectively leveling grid electric power. This study determines the relationships between PV capacity and battery capacity and between electric power leveling and battery discharge rate in a microgrid.
