Substructural Predicates

Kosta Došen · 1996

Abstract In another paper by the author, of which this is a companion, it was suggested that equality principles should be restricted in substructural set theories or higher-order logics in order to prevent the banned structural rules from resurging. Underlying these restrictions are notions of predicate in which the use of predicate functors corresponding to contraction and thinning are restricted. These notions are here introduced and compared with the restrictions envisaged in the former paper.
