Logical layering heuristic
Wiebe Wiersema, Leo Pruijt · 2015
There have been a large amount of publications on the subject of logical layering in software architecture. What is rarely discussed is the manner how a software architect can design a layering model that satisfies the requirements of the system. In this work we present a heuristic that defines the steps that need to be taken by a software architect to design a software architecture layering model that satisfies the given requirements: Logical Layering Heuristic.
