Evidence Combination Rule with the Weighting Coefficient on Compatibility and Stability

For the problem of low confidence and high conflict of evidence combination, a new method based on evidence compatibility coefficient is proposed. According to function of evidence compatibility, the compatibility degree matrix can be obtained, the consistent degree of evidence is presented based on compatibility degree matrix. Then the deviation of compatibility coefficient is defined to indicate the stability of evidence, the weights of evidence can be acquired based on the consistent and stability of evidence. Finally, the Dempster-Shafer combination rule is used to realize information fusion, the results of numerical examples show that the proposed method improves the reliability and rationality of the evidence combination results.
