Computational Transformation from Web to ebook Archiving

Offline reading of webpages is gaining importance as users are swamped with data from multiple sites, duplicate entries, storage needs for future use, and various other necessities. The work presented in this paper presents the tool and its schema that is able to satisfy the various requirements of archiving URLs and its linked pages without duplicate entries, indexes the content efficiently and in a user friendly manner of presentation, bookmarks the viewed content for usage later, is able to integrate well with various devices and numerous formats. The presented approach has a targeted methodology which enables it to perform the above mentioned tasks easily without much resource wastage. It achieves its basic aim of providing a quantitative and a well-structured method for offline reading and availability of web pages. The tool is robust, and easy to use. Further, it organizes the content is an easy-to-read manner by storing only linked media and content. Relevant databases were formed for adequate testing. The tool considers the constraints of other existing contrivances and attempts reduce their drawbacks. The proposed tool is found to be satisfactory in its usage requirement and ease-of-use factors too. The final outputs are in the forms of easy-to-read epub and pdf formats for usage in various cross-domain platforms.
