An Ontology-Based Approach for Modeling The Distributed Test Issues

My El Hassan Charaf, Malika Bergannou · 2018

In the context of distributed test, the activity of the test is performed by a set of parallel testers called PTCs (Parallel Test Components). The difficulty is in writing communication procedures of coordination and cooperation between the PTCs. The coordination problems in the distributed test context have been a research issue for many years. In this paper, we discuss some of these coordination problems and we propose a solution using an Ontology-based approach for modeling such situations. We present a model of inter-agent communications based ontology for the distributed test. The proposed approach leads us to introduce a common language that is comprehensible by all the agent testers. The objective of this work is to eventually have a platform for compliance testing of distributed applications.
