How to Test Long Ethernet Channels Parameters

We have demonstrated the possibility of normal operation of Long Ethernet network interfaces with the length at least 200 m of the balance channel based on the base twisted pair cable. The possibility of testing them using standard cable analyzers taking into account only some of the measured characteristics from the standard report is justified. The correctness of the approach is proved by checking the correct operation of the channel at the network level using a network analyzer. To do this, the level of bit errors was checked at frame lengths from 64 to 1518 bytes.
