The author reviews recent competing Coun of Appeal decisions on the wilful promotion of haired and the freedom of expression.The reconciliation of the competing claims, themselves representing the conflict between group rights and individual rights, is dealt with in the context of recent Supreme Coun of Canada jurisprudence.
