Unmanned Aerial Systems have various applications in the areas of military and surveillance. The use of computer vision as a sensory input provides an increased visual capacity which can be used by several robotic platforms to perform tasks. Its use can be found in the control and navigation of aerial vehicles, or for other forms of remote sensing. In this work, we present the development of a framework which is capable of developing an exact tracking of a person or an object and follow it autonomously. The tracking and following is performed without any help of GPS, only using the front monocular camera of the drone and the computation work is done by a laptop.
