The forwarding-based routing algorithm in the opportunistic network will cause a large amount of data to flow to important nodes, resulting in unbalanced load on the nodes. Eventually, congestion will occur on those important nodes and data will be dropped. Aiming at this problem, a congestion control strategy based on node identity transformation is proposed. Based on its own degree of congestion, nodes choose to accept only, forward only, or accept and forward data. And according to different levels of congestion, different message processing methods are selected. Simulation results show that the congestion control strategy can effectively reduce the node's congestion, reduce the number of message copies in the network, and improve the efficiency of data delivery.
