The increasing development in the field of computers has spawned a variety of devices more and more sophisticated. These allow help users according to their needs in the home, office, or in particular situations. The devices are implemented for dedicated systems such as home automation systems. Home medical monitoring is one of the forms of a context-aware home automation system. It is increasingly used especially for people with reduced autonomy. It provides real-time information by using sensors, to identify the condition in which the monitored patient is located such as their position, vital signs, and any other relevant information. These systems have a high safety constraint because a fault in the system generates spread catastrophic consequences on human life. The purpose of this paper is to exploit the calculated context to tolerate the existence of faults, by ensuring a continuous availability of the functionalities required by the medical system. This calculated context is a scope of the code replication insured by the N-version programming. These solutions may be useful because the execution in another way will certainly have a different probability of the simultaneous unavailability of the system.
