Wavelet-Based Methods For Signal Denoising

We discuss several wavelet-based methods for signal denoising including the discrete wavelet-transform with real-valued basic functions and two variants of the complex wavelet-transform. We show the advantages of the latest approaches for different examples of noisy time series.
