Hydraulic fracturing technology is an important mean of extracting unconventional oil and gas reservoir. With the emphasis on unconventional oil and gas resource from petroleum industry, hydraulic fracturing technology has developed rapidly. In recent years, in order to improve the construction efficiency and transformation effect of fracturing, continuous sand fracturing technology has been developed and successfully applied to the actual fracturing construction. Micro-seismic monitoring is the key technology of fracturing image. Real-time monitoring of fracture can be used to understand the rule of fracture extension. After fracturing, it can judge the effect of fracturing and further guide the optimization of follow-up Fracturing construction by the micro-seismic monitoring of crack geometry. This paper mainly introduces the application of the first time of micro-seismic surface monitoring technology in fracturing with whole stage continuous sand in W shale gas block.
