A Proposal of Web API Design for IoT Data Utilization Based on Smart Communities

This paper proposes a Web API design for IoT data collected from a smart community's platform. The IoT data from a smart community should be utilized for residents who owners of the data as services and applications because storing data makes cost. To provide IoT services and applications for smart communities, IoT data, which is especially collected by IoT devices, should be distributed to a third party after meaningful data analysis. Therefore, this Web API provides IoT data and its significance in order to enhance developing applications such as high-dense temperature information to avoid heatstroke. Description of the system and applicability are showed in this paper.
