Approval Deletion Model for Case-based Maintenance of Case-based Reasoning System
Adtha Lawanna · 2018
Problem of case-base size increases in the process of case-based maintenance can be solved by case deletion algorithms such as random, utility, footprint, and categorization. Nevertheless, the ability of reducing case-base size and competency of the system need to be improved. Thus, this research paper recommends that the new algorithm that is developed for improving the deletion and selection algorithms, which guarantee the best outcomes compared with four traditional methods. It has four algorithms, which are approving type of target problems, classifying cases, deleting irrelevant cases and selecting relevant cases. Accordingly, it provides higher percent size reduction, coverage value, and competency when compared with traditional methods as about at most 8%, 14% and 10% respectively.
