Arndt Bode · 2018
Summary form only given, as follows. The complete presentation wase not made available for publication as part of the conference proceedings. Information technology has reached a point, where various optimization targets (security availability, user friendliness, energy efficiency) for IT services for science can be reached only by holistic approaches. The talk describes this at the example of the Leibniz Supercomputing Center of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Munich, Germany, offering services to scientists in HPC (SuperMUC), networking (Munich network) and archiving.
