The comples geological structure with fault-structure makes the accuracy of seismic horizon automatic tracking is not so high. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a horizon tracking technique based on dynamic time warping algorithm. Firstly, the algorithm is used to extract the time-difference between the traces of the seismic section. Secondly, the time-difference is made smoothing processing to eliminate the anormalous data. Finally, the time-difference is used to make horizon tracking. According to the final results of this paper, the method is a good solution to horizon tracking of the geological structure with fault-structure. At the same time, the extracted time-difference is also helpful on the study of tomography.
