John L. Stromberg · Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B (Statistical Methodology) · 1969
Summary This paper presents a method for determining, on the basis of sample data, which of several multinomial populations are the same and which are distinct. The method is compared with alternative approaches and is shown to have certain advantages. its limitations are also discussed. It is then applied to the specific anthropological problem of distinguishing among six burial sites of Northern California Indians.
