DaqingChangyuan Oilfield has reached an extreme high water-cut as a very mature field. Therefore, it becomes more and more difficult to identify the remaining oil. Faultsare one of the principal factors influencing the distribution of the remaining oil. This paper proposes the fault Identification techniques by well breakpoints and seismic integration for the fine structures description. The adjusting form nearby the faults is inverted, and the optimized design method and matching tapping techniques for the residual oil area nearby the faults are established, therefore the adjusting potentials in the fault area can be fully tapped. In the light of the different types of the potentials, the high-efficiency wells with different kinds are designed and arranged to effectively tap the remained oil resulted from the fault barrier and furthermore the successful experiences and remarkable incremental effects in the reserves and oil production are achieved.
