GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA2018) came into force in May 2018. Four months on, Charlotte Walker-Osborn, Partner and Global Head of Technology Sector, and Gayle McFarlane, a Privacy and Technology Partner, both from law firm Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP, give us some thoughts on the legislation with an additional focus on biometrics in context of the legislation.
