In today's world of communication, the maintenance of the security, confidentiality and integrity of the data is a big challenge. Cryptography is the technique that contributes to achieve this goal in a communication network. It converts the information into cipher text with the help of an algorithm or cipher text technique. Playfair Cipher is one such technique which encrypts pairs of letters (bigrams or diagrams).
