In today's IoT world, increasing number of devices are getting connected to one another every day. All these devices basically operate on the framework of the Internet. Internet facilitates communication between these mesh of devices, allowing transfer and exchange of data. Internet has long been provided by operators to users of mobile devices through various mediums like: Data-pack, Wi-Fi, Li-Fi, Gi-Fi, etc. All these solutions usually require a specific set of protocols, a specific hardware or Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for their operation. However, it is well known today, that all the mobile devices under consideration are equipped with an in-built microphone(s) and a speaker(s). We are harnessing Internet connectivity by utilizing the functionality provided by these two basic units. In the paper we are proposing an idea of transmitting Internet data over audio waves with a proof-of-concept prototype for the proposition.
