In ad hoc network security become more challenging issues due to its dynamic nature. The network allows any node to join and also leave the system without having a physical address or getting consent. Specially appointed systems are helpless to various types of assaults, for example, refusal of administrations, pantomime, and listening stealthily. The dynamic topology of MANETs permits nodes to link and disappears from network at any point of time. This general characteristic of MANET has rendered it susceptible to defense attacks. The Worm hole attack is one of such security hazard. In this attack, a malevolent node unreliably advertise shortest path to the destination node with an intension to interrupt the communication. In this paper, we propose a methodology for detecting worm-hole node (s) namely worm-hole node. We proposed to consider different parameters like Average Throughput, End to End Delay and packet drop count for entire simulation session. Hence, we proposed an interchange for routing that approach not only detecting the worm-hole node even preventing network. The investigational results shows the adoptable execution of the calculation and recuperate the distinctive execution parameters i.e. throughput, end to end delay and packet delivery ratio.
