Zinal D. Patel · 2018 2nd International Conference on Trends in Electronics and Informatics (ICOEI) · 2018

Internet of Things (IoT) is considered to be the most prominent current research technology that connects physical objects to the digital world and thus provides a flux to the future Internet. Heterogeneous sensors and actuators are the core devices represented at the bottom layer in IoT where the privacy of services and applications is crucial. The deployment of IoT services and heterogeneous devices is aided by ubiquitous wireless connectivity, declining communication costs, and the emergence of cloud platforms. Thus, the architecture for the IoT are to be designed keeping the above aspects in concern. Till data, various distinct architectures are proffered for IoT. This paper focuses on surveying the existing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) for the efficient communication and privacy of services. Also, it provides a detailed comparison to summarize and analyze the Service Oriented Architectures under concern.
