Implementing One-Time Password Mutual Authentication Scheme on Sharing Renewed Finite Random Sub-Passwords Using Raspberry Pi as a Room Access Control to Prevent Replay Attack

Generally, the authentication technique in access control uses a password scheme as its credential verifier value, especially conventional static password scheme, because of it is convenience. But in fact, authentication using static password is weak against password leakage attacks. In this paper we proposed, a prototype of a client-server-based room access control system using Raspberry Pi that implements a one-time password mutual authentication scheme on sharing renewed finite random sub-passwords. After the system prototype had been built, a replay attack was performed. The result of implementing a one-time mutual authentication scheme on sharing renewed finite random sub-passwords on this system prototype is proven to be resistant to replay Attack.
