In an era of Information Overload, wherein we get millions of results for a simple search query executed on the web, it is quite challenging to go through each one of the search results and remember the features of each, to later compare it with other results. This paper focuses on a tool, called House-Viz, which simplifies our process of decision making, by creating interactive visualizations for our search results. This makes it feasible to look at the bigger picture for effective comparison of these results at a single glance, hence summarize the content. This tool addresses such a problem in the domain of Real Estate, wherein people are now-a-days trying to find their dream homes, best suited for their needs, online. The characteristics of this tool, is exemplified by taking into consideration various houses and their different features, and searching the right set of houses according to your search preferences. Its potential is then shown by visualizing these search results of various houses and their features, using two novel visualization techniques, one in 2-D and the other in 3-D, which help us in effectively analyzing and comparing the various houses, and thus, simplifying our decision to find the right home.
