Recently, the access of content over the internet has increased in a significant way because of advancements in communication networks, and it is growing at the rate well beyond our imagination. To improve the quality of experience of viewing the content over the internet requires dynamic allocation, optimization, and adaptation of network resources. Traditional IP networks are vertically integrated hence flexibility in managing network resources is very less. Software-defined networking (SDN) is an emerging technology that provides the solution to optimize various network resources dynamically by breaking this vertical integration chain. Network function virtualization along with service chain optimization provides the solution to improve Quality of Experience (QoE) and Quality of Service (QoS). In this paper, we are proposing an approach to improve the QoE by optimizing service chain and data center parameters.
