A Generalization of Coprime Factorization for Obtaining Stabilizing Controllers

In this paper, we propose a generalization of coprime factorization of plants. This generalization does not require the right-/left-coprime factorizabilities and consists of several fractions of given plant. This leads a new method to obtain a stabilizing controller and, analogously to the coprime factorization, alternative different stabilizing controllers. We also present their applications.
