Cellular Automata as Traffic Models and Spectrum of Two-Dimensional Contour Networks — Open Chainmails
Maria Ju. Fomina, Alexander G. Tolkachov, Dmitry A. Tatashev, Marina Victorovna Yashina · 2018
A concise review is given on applications of cellular automata as traffic models and new analytical results have been obtained for a discrete dynamical system. The concepts of a contour network and its spectrum have been introduced by A. P. Buslaev. Contours of the system form a regular two-dimensional rectangular structure, which is called open chainmail. The open chainmail is a Buslaev contour network. The spectrum of the system is studied.
