The studying elements of robotics in school

The article deals with the didactic principles of teaching the most promising of innovative directions– robotics in the school. It is proposed to use the open-source electronics platform Arduino. Theneed to develop a program instructions and teaching materials in robotics is described. The urgency ofthe research is considered. An analysis is made of the current state of the using of robotics for teachingchildren. The research methods such as observation, analysis of scientific literature, analysis of activities,systematization and synthesis, interview are used. 58 respondents took part in the survey. It demonstratesobservance of the principles of visibility, the connection between theory and practice, scientificapproach, accessibility, purposefulness of training, purposefulness of teaching when introducing elementsof robotics to school. The stages of development of a new software and hardware solution formanaging a robotic platform are given. The article shows a brief description of the procedures that wereused to create the Robot equipped with Arduino. The authors study the problem of introducing elementsof robotics into the schools of Kazakhstan as an integral section of the computer science course.To implement the section, it is necessary to develop a system of concepts for robotics for school education.Potential problems include the inability to purchase robot kits at school because of the high price,it makes it difficult to introduce training in robotics at school. The inclusion of this section will increasethe effectiveness of development of constructive thinking of the pupil, motor skills of the hands, revealthe creative potential of the child.Key words: teaching methods of informatics, didactics, information technologies, robotics, didacticprinciples.
