Compressive receiver in electronic warfare systems

Microscan or compressive receiver scans a wide frequency range in a short time interval, detecting the signal components frequency with high resolution and enables its subsequent processing. This property of the receiver makes it extensively applied in electronic warfare systems. In this paper we presented a compressive receiver operation principle, main characteristics, limits and usage in different military electronic systems.
