Enhancing Sudanese E-Services Performance by Designing a Reliable and Robust National Network

The great development of information and communication technology has leads to use of networks to connecting the world. The intranet is defined as private network that can only be accessed by authorized users for internal communications. The aim of this paper is to connect the different services which support the Sudanese governmental institutions (e.g. Universities, Ministries, Hospitals, etc) in a single internal network (intranet). To develop and improve the network, OPNET simulation has been used to achieve requirement of ministry of National Telecommunications Authority. The proposed network is dedicated to support the all government institutions in Sudan. In addition, it provides the internet service for the research and education communities within Sudan. It secured, reliable, and provide the communication between different institutes and companies which leads to information integration.
