[23] presented genetic algorithm (GA) along with the amendments initial population and selection.It is used in the optimization of the search of attack scenarios in audit files.It gives the subset of potential assaults which are available in the review document in a sensible preparing time.They have used the network security laboratory-knowledge discovery and data mining (NSL-KDD99) dataset.By combining the IDS with Genetic algorithm increases the performance of the detection rate of the network intrusion detection model and reduces the false positive rate.
