Vehicle Window Detection Based on Hough Transform and Integral Projection

Vehicle window size and position can provide important information for the occupant detection in the HOV system. Therefore, quickly and accurately locating and extracting vehicle windows will greatly improve the processing speed and detection accuracy. According to the characteristics of vehicle windows, we employed Hough transform and Integration projection to cut the window region. Experimental results show that the algorithm has merits of high computing speed and high accuracy of detection.
