Analysis of Web Authentication Methods Using Amazon Web Services

Single Sign on is a session which allows user to be authenticated using only one set of login credentials. This paper analyses the various authentication methods that can be used to ensure security of the same. The methods, HTTP basic authentication and OTP based authentication are implemented and compared to get a consolidated result, which will help in guiding the usage of them in different scenarios. These are deployed and tested in a Virtual Private Network using Amazon AWS. This paper also compares the features of Amazon AWS over OpenStack.
