Performance Comparison of Various Filters for Removing Salt &Pepper and Speckle Noises

An image is considered as a collection of information and the occurrence of noises in the image causes degradation in the quality of the images. In this paper, a performance comparison of various filters for salt & pepper noise and Speckle noise has been discussed. The simulation result shows the performance of different types of filters to denoised the noisy images with RMSE and PSNR values as performance parameters. Results of this paper have been simulated on MATLAB
